The COBC warned consumers of the serious eye health risks by using Halloween cosmetic contact lenses.
- Articles featuring theCollege of Opticians of British Columbia(COBC) welcoming the decision of the Court of Appeal on The College ofOpticians of British Columbia v. Coastal Contacts Inc. and Clearly ContactsLtd., which found that contact lenses should not be treated as 'over thecounter' products and that a prescription is required in order to dispensecontact lenses.
To help ensure a safe halloween, the College of Opticians of BC (COBC) warned consumers of health concerns related to the use of non-corrective coloured contact lenses (cosmetic lenses), including blindness.
